Since January 2017 it has been possible to send messages via the Brandmeister DMR network to the DAPNET. Handling: You have to send a message to the Brandmeister-POCSAG-gateway with the private contact 262994. The content of the message has to be structed as follows: „//Callsign message text//“, e.g. //OE7SRI Hello from Brandmeister// {{ :usecase:dmrbeispielmessage.jpg |}} The text message is then forwarded to the RIC, which is connected to that call sign and you get a confirmation "Hi! Your message to OE7SRI has been sent with your callsign". See also http://wiki.bm262.de/doku.php?id=servicenummer (german) Vice versa it is also possible to forward DAPNET messages to a DMR ID. For this feature an assignment of your RIC to your DMR ID is necessary. This can be done by each member of the BM262-team, especially Ralph, DK5RAS, can be found in the DAPNET-telegram groups (or please ask in the BM262 telegram groups). Necessary Information: RIC, DMR-ID and call For delivering the dapnet-message to the device, the Brandmeister System has to know the currently used repeater/hotspot (e.g. via GPS, RRS or a voice transmission from your device) and the repeater/hotspot has to be unused. Messages will not be buffered in the system.
