Many receivers from commercial applications have pre-programmed RICs for batch notifications. So far we have identified

If your pager can be programmed manually, please choose one of the RICs from the list above and program it into your receiver.

If your pager can not be programmed manually, please try to find out if there is a preprogrammed RIC and, if you find it, notify the DAPNET team via a ticket.

We are using the batch alarm RICs IN GERMANY in case of civil warnings or extreme weather conditions to notify the DAPNET participants in the affected area. Please note that this DOES NOT REPLACE OFFICIAL INFORMATION PLATFORMS!

We know that this way of triggering large scale alarms holds potential for abuse. Be warned, the admins can trace abuse (be it a prank or malicious intent) via the log files.

In Absprache mit dem Bundesamt für Bevölkerungsschutz und Katastrophenhilfe fragen wir die offiziellen Warnmeldungen von warnung.bund.de ab und senden diese im DAPNET aus. Die Verteilung erfolgt über die vorgenannten RICs, sowie über die Rubrik (10)39 BBK-NINA. Broadcasts erfolgen jeweils in den Regierungsbezirken, die von einem Ereignis betroffen sind.
